Don’t assume the worst, your vehicle’s electrical problems may just be due to dust and dirt.

Dust, debris, oil and dirt can build up on your vehicle’s electrical contacts. Overtime, these deposits may lead to contact failure, a loss of performance, or even a total malfunction in the electrical system.

CRC Industries’ QD Electronic Cleaner is a precision cleaner designed to improve your vehicle’s electrical connections. It’s safe on plastic, dries quickly, and leaves no residue.

Here’s how to use QD Electronic Cleaner…

Make sure your vehicle’s engine is off and that the power supply to the component or contact is disconnected.

First, remove any corrosion or oxide formation from the area with an abrasive cloth or wire brush. Then, spray small amounts of QD Electronic Cleaner on the areas that need cleaning.

Again, CRC’s QD Electronic Cleaner is safe on plastic, so you don’t need to worry about overspray harming plastic housings or parts near the area you’re cleaning. You can use a cotton swab or lint-free cloth to clean stubborn areas, too.

Allow the product to dry thoroughly (this will happen quickly) before reconnecting the contact.

Once contacts and connections have been cleaned, we recommend using CRC’s technician grade Di-Electric Grease to seal and protect each contact from further corrosion or possible short circuits.
